About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Logistics Director to lead our supply chain operations and drive excellence across the organization. This is a critical leadership role that requires a strategic thinker with exceptional operational expertise, strong leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of supply chain management principles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals, optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs while maintaining quality and timelines, and establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Procurement and Vendor Management: Oversee sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective purchasing of materials and services, build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements, and identify and onboard reliable vendors for consistent supply and quality assurance.
  • Inventory and Warehouse Management: Manage inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production while minimizing holding costs, ensure proper storage, handling, and distribution of materials and finished products, and monitor inventory turnover and implement best practices for inventory control.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Oversee transportation and logistics operations to ensure timely delivery of goods, optimize shipping schedules, routes, and costs to improve overall efficiency, and resolve logistical challenges and delays effectively.
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field, and an MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum 10 years of proven experience in supply chain management within the manufacturing sector, demonstrated success in leading large-scale supply chain operations.
  • Technical and Functional Skills: Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory control, logistics, and warehouse management, proficiency in ERP systems and supply chain management software, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
