The primary role of an Equity Operations Manager involves overseeing the efficient execution of equity operations within a firm. This includes managing teams, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and maintaining effective relationships with clients and depositories.


Key Responsibilities:
  • To ensure seamless execution of equity operations, including corporate actions such as dividends, preference shares, debentures, bonus issues, private placements, and rights issues.
  • Manage all types of equity corporate actions, including unlisted equity admission, SME/main board IPO, AGM/EGM/EVOTING/postal ballot, and handle audits: internal audit, SEBI audit, system audit, etc.
  • Oversee the automation and integration of activities in software with support from IT and ensure that technical soundness is maintained.
  • Coordinate closely with clients to resolve queries related to corporate actions and admission matters efficiently.
  • Frequently replenish job-specific knowledge and apply it to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate should have a commerce background with good knowledge of RTA operations and preferably post-graduation.
  • A minimum of 6-7 years' experience in RTA/depository participant/share broking firms is desirable.
