Job Description:

  • As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for managing daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations.
  • You will prepare accurate year-end financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and handle GST-related matters, including responding to notices and ensuring timely compliance.
  • Additionally, you will manage foreign Letters of Credit (LCs) and understand related import/export regulations, liaise with banks for credit renewals and maintain strong banking relationships.
  • Furthermore, you will coordinate with external and internal auditors and facilitate audit processes, analyse financial data to provide strategic recommendations for business growth, and ensure adherence to all relevant financial laws and regulations.
  • You will also maintain cash flow management, budgeting, and financial forecasting, as well as support management with financial analysis and reports as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Candidate must possess a CMA Semi-qualified or CA degree and have 5-8 years of experience in the infrastructure sector with a strong background in finance.
  • Proven experience in handling GST compliance and responding to notices is essential, along with demonstrated knowledge in managing foreign LCs and staying updated on RBI and import/export regulations.
  • Candidate should also have experience in preparing financial statements and conducting financial analysis, proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, and strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles and financial management, advanced proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools, effective communication skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently, and strong problem-solving abilities and leadership qualities are required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with infrastructure or related industries is preferred, as well as knowledge of financial instruments and international trade compliance.
