Our organisation seeks an accomplished professional to drive business growth in emerging technologies, such as Infrared (IR), pulse staking, precision cleaning, and metal welding. This exciting opportunity is focused on capitalising on the growth momentum in India, with a dedicated emphasis on driving technologies that cater to various industries.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading business development efforts, working closely with the sales team to drive revenue growth and expand market share. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing business strategies to increase revenue and market share in emerging technologies
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support sales efforts and drive vendor development plans for localization
  • Influencing the electric vehicle battery manufacturing lines coming into India to increase after-sales business
  • Driving commercial cleaning opportunities with distributors
  • Leading key marketing exercises, including market sizing, competition mapping, pricing analysis, and sales-orders demand-forecast analysis
  • Cultivating strategic partnerships and collaborations to drive growth and profitability

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in engineering and/or a business-related field
  • More than 12 years of relevant sales/marketing/business development experience, with a proven track record of success in building and demonstrating a brand or specific product/service category
  • Strong communication, presentation, and influencing skills, with the ability to lead colleagues by influence (often virtually) and comfortably engage with customers at decision-making levels
  • Experience of working in a matrix organisation and willingness to travel extensively
