Job Title: Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines across diverse platforms including Vertica, Snowflake, Teradata, Azure, Databricks, and various ETL tools.

A strong foundation in SQL and cloud integration is essential. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data modeling and performance tuning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain efficient data pipelines using ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory
  • Work with Vertica, Snowflake, and Teradata databases for data modeling and performance tuning
  • Implement solutions on cloud platforms, particularly Azure, including Azure Data Lake and Azure Synapse
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to enable data science workflows via Databricks
  • Write optimized, modular, and reusable SQL queries
  • Ensure data quality, reliability, and governance across systems
  • Participate in code reviews and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics
  • Hands-on experience with Vertica, Snowflake, and Teradata
  • Strong proficiency in ETL tools like Informatica, Talend, or Azure Data Factory
  • Exposure to Azure Cloud Services and Databricks notebooks
  • Basic SQL skills for querying and analysis
  • Knowledge of data lake and lakehouse architectures
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration
