Program Manager

The role involves overseeing the successful delivery of background verification programs. The ideal candidate is a highly organized and strategic thinker with excellent project management skills, able to manage cross-functional teams and complex initiatives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of client-specific background verification programs.
  • Develop strategies for efficient execution of verification projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and client expectations.
  • Identify key project risks and mitigate them to ensure timely, within-scope, and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Facilitate regular project status meetings, track progress, and ensure action items are completed.
  • Continuously evaluate current workflows and identify areas for improvement in program delivery.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for program success.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in program management, project management, or operations, preferably in a background verification, HR, or compliance-related industry.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to manage relationships and negotiate effectively.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams and clients.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of background verification processes, compliance regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in project management tools.
  • Experience with automation tools and technologies used in background verification processes.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and how they impact background verification practices.
