Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Data Engineer to join our organization.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in data engineering with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using GCP tools such as Python, Data Flow, DataStream, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Pub Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
  • Develop and implement efficient data processing and storage solutions to meet business objectives.
  • Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines to ensure reliability and scalability.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP features and technologies to improve data processing efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience in data engineering with a focus on GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of GCP tools and services.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python.
  • Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

  • This is a long-term contract position.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for partitioning/clustering and retrieving content in Big Query, securing data using IAM roles & Policy Tags, and designing and building an ingestion pipeline using Rest API.
