Job Opportunity: Azure Data Engineer

Overview:

A skilled and motivated data engineer is needed to join our team.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale data pipelines as well as collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop data architecture solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, data architecture, and data integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain large-scale data pipelines using ETL tools such as Databricks and Data Factory.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop data architecture solutions that meet business needs.
  • Work closely with data scientists to understand data requirements and design appropriate data systems.
  • Develop and maintain databases, ensuring data quality, security, and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve data management practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, R, or Scala.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and ETL processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices.
  • Knowledge of data governance and data security best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Certifications in cloud data technologies.
  • Basic knowledge of data science concepts.
