Cloud Development Lead

A key position in our team is available for a Cloud Development Lead. We are looking for an experienced and skilled professional to lead our cloud engineering efforts.

This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure across multiple platforms including Azure, AWS, and GCP. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Azure, as well as working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP environments
  • Architect, deploy and optimize Azure-based solutions including compute, storage, networking, and security services
  • Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives with an emphasis on Azure technologies
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using modern DevOps practices
  • Implement and manage containerized workloads using AKS and EKS
  • Establish and enforce cloud security standards and best practices across environments
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions for automated deployments
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Optimize cloud resource usage and implement cost management strategies
  • Troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need the following skills and qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in cloud engineering/architecture roles
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure, plus working knowledge of AWS and GCP platforms
  • Proficiency with Kubernetes orchestration, particularly AKS, with knowledge of EKS
  • Experience with Karpenter, ArgoCD, and Istio in container environments
  • Demonstrated expertise in cloud security principles and implementations
  • Advanced knowledge of cloud networking concepts and solutions
  • Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows
  • Experience with infrastructure as code tools (particularly Terraform, Azure ARM templates, and AWS CloudFormations)
