Industrial Control Automation Specialist

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Control Automation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial control systems.

  1. Control Systems Expertise: The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and reports.
  2. Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams: A strong understanding of Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), General Arrangement (GA) drawings, and layout drawings is essential.
  3. Instrumentation Experience: Hands-on experience with various instruments such as flow meters, pressure sensors, level transmitters, analysers, actuators, Pressure Reducing Valves (PRV), Flow Control Valves (FCV), and electrical panel integration.
  4. Task Execution: Ability to interpret work plans and execute tasks efficiently according to site requirements.
  5. Cable Laying and Testing: Experience in cable laying with necessary accessories in trenches and trays. Proficiency in understanding cable schedules and routing drawings, as well as performing glanding, termination, and loop/Input-Output (IO) testing in the field.
  6. Data Logger Configuration: Proficiency in configuring and commissioning flow and pressure data loggers and other instrumentation equipment.
  7. Site Coordination: Responsible for providing site clearances to sub-contractors and in-house teams as per the plan. Organize all necessary facilities for sub-contractors, stakeholders, and in-house execution teams to ensure project targets are met, including installation and commissioning activities.
  8. Safety Management: Implement and manage safety protocols to ensure zero injury results. Prioritize safety in all aspects of the job and implement corrective actions and maintain quality standards to avoid rework and ensure project quality.
  9. Project Reporting: Communicate project status updates to the reporting officer on a daily, weekly, fortnightly, and monthly basis. Assist the project management team in preparing required documents, reports, as-built drawings, and other necessary documentation.

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or related fields.

Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial control automation.
