Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Coal Handling Systems Lead to spearhead the design and implementation of coal handling systems for our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development of these systems, ensuring they meet stringent safety, environmental, and operational standards.

About the Role:

  • Lead the design and engineering of coal handling systems, including conveyors, wagon tipplers, rotary discharge machines, crushers, stackers, reclaimers, hoppers, and conveyor-associated equipment like gear boxes and couplings.
  • Review and approve technical specifications, engineering drawings, and design calculations.
  • Guide junior engineers to ensure adherence to design standards and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and vendors to resolve technical queries and ensure design compliance.
  • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and excellence within the team.
  • Provide engineering support during construction, testing, and commissioning phases.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in coal handling system design and implementation.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
