Atlassian Administrator Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Atlassian administrator to manage and maintain our Atlassian tools. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

  • Collaborate with senior technical management, product owners, and project managers to design and implement effective solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver service improvements by leveraging Atlassian products and optimizing existing toolsets.
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Atlassian Jira and Confluence, providing guidance and support to users on best practices and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure operational requirements are met by delivering services around standards and engineering, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Own and manage user access permissions, ensuring compliance with security guidelines and communicating effectively across departments and geographically dispersed teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven expertise in analyzing, troubleshooting, implementing, and supporting Jira and Confluence Cloud.
  • Demonstrated ability in managing Jira Cloud and Confluence Cloud within a professional environment.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and cloud-based project management tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of security policies, user management, best practices, design, usage, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional analytical and troubleshooting skills in a cloud-based setting.
  • Proficiency in Shell, Python, and Groovy scripting for automating tasks to minimize manual workload.
  • Strong knowledge in creating reports on Jira Dashboards and EazyBI.
  • Outstanding implementation skills in managing Jira custom fields, workflow management, and developing common templates.
  • Considerable experience in integrating Jira and Confluence with third-party tools.
  • Proficient in cost optimization by identifying and substituting unnecessary plugins with cloud-native features.
