US F&A GL Accountant Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced and skilled accountants to manage the month-end close tasks for US F&A General Ledger (GL).

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee end-to-end US F&A GL month close tasks, including submission of Borrowing Compliance and Ratio Analysis.
  • Prepare Balance sheet, Income Statement and Accruals movements in accordance with SOPs and processes.
  • Annual Accounts and Finalization of Accounts of Group Companies and the Consolidated Accounts for the Company in line with US GAAP.
  • Monthly consolidation of group companies' financial data.
  • Assist in preparation of year-end books for audit purposes and liaison with auditors for interim and final audits.
  • Implement suitable internal control systems within the department.
  • Provide monthly and need-based information to top management.
  • Detailed cash flow analyses as required.
  • Analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows.
  • Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for relevant entities.
  • Reconcile bank accounts and assigned general ledger accounts.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills, including task prioritization, deadline management, and multitasking.
  • Good judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable to changes in the work setting.
  • Ability to manage work with offshore team members.
  • Knowledge in various ratios, US GAAP, FCCS/EPM, Power BI, MS Office.
