We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead our data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of cloud-native data services, big data technologies, and data warehousing concepts.

Job Overview

This key role involves designing and developing robust data architectures, leading the implementation of data solutions on various cloud platforms, defining and enforcing data governance standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Design and develop secure and scalable data platforms.
  • Lead the implementation of data solutions on major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Define and enforce data governance, quality, and security standards.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience with 3+ years of experience in data architecture or a similar role.
  • Proven expertise in designing and implementing data solutions on at least one major cloud platform.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native data services such as AWS: Redshift, S3, Glue, Athena, and EMR; Azure: Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Data Factory, and Databricks; GCP: BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and data warehousing concepts.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Knowledge of data governance tools and practices.

Certifications (Preferred):

  • Relevant certifications such as Professional Cloud Architect, Certified Data Management Professional, or similar credentials.
