Senior Mechanical Design Specialist

Job Summary:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for consumer electronics, semiconductor, switchgear, pharmaceutical, and other automation industries.
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and controlling of mechanical design teams, providing technical guidance and optimization.
Purpose:
- Understand customer requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Plan, schedule, and control mechanical design teams, providing technical guidance and reviews.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic planning of team formation, building, training, monitoring, and evaluating performance.
- Aligning the team to organizational objectives and monitoring performance.
- Resource management, including identifying, assigning, and withdrawing resources effectively.
- Design reviews, communication, coordination, alignment, and gate reviews with adjacent functions.
- Planning design releases, verification of design layouts, and identification of constraints for releases.
- Verification of various design documentation, system integration design, and concept development.
- Cycle time, stack-up, and budget preparation and monitoring.
- Cross-functional leadership for leading technical tasks.
- Managing work pools, creating and executing test plans, and resolving issues.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, including detailing, controls, software, and project teams.
- Participating in standardization and modularity drives.
Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical design in a project-based organization.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Solid edge, ERP/MPT, and MS Office.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
