Job Overview

A Quantity Surveyor plays a vital role in overseeing construction project costs, with a focus on specialized systems. With 5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying and a strong Civil engineering background, you will be responsible for cost estimation, budget management, and contract administration.

The ideal candidate will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met. Key responsibilities include:

  • Studying project scope in-line with design requirements
  • Validating technical specifications received from the Design team
  • Optimizing specifications without deviating from client requirements
  • Validating Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and backup workings
  • Presenting BOQs and solutions to Management and obtaining approvals
  • Checking RA bills and final bills
  • Preparing Amendments
  • Validating budget cost analysis based on benchmark cost matrices
  • Submitting different budget options considering alternative solutions to actual design
  • Exploring new products and obtaining approvals
  • Proposing different optimization options in budgets
  • Completing budget requirements within given timelines without delays
  • Preparing reports on cost analysis of projects as per Management requirements
