Senior Architect

As a key member of our technology team, you will play a pivotal role in designing and building end-to-end Data to Decision Systems capabilities.

You will report to a senior architect and be responsible for:

  • Developing architecture, estimation, management, development, maintenance of backend and frontend for various Data to Decision projects.
  • Building, scaling overseeing Digital Transformation for our Decision systems capabilities.
  • Collaborating with data science engineering team to integrate algorithmic output from backend REST APIs.
  • Working closely with business and product owners to create dynamic infographics with intuitive user controls.
  • Mentoring junior engineers on project delivery and career growth.
  • Communicating technical project journey and sharing with stakeholders.
  • Participating in UAT, diagnosing troubleshooting, bugs and application integration issues.
  • Crafting and maintaining documentation related to developed processes and applications.

For this position, we are seeking a highly experienced individual with 13-17 years of demonstrable experience as a Technology Leader for enterprise web applications.

We require expertise in:

  • Python, JavaScript (ES6), HTML5 CSS.
  • ReactJS or VueJS.
  • Java SE, SpringBoot or Play Framework.
  • Databases RDBMS such as MySQL NoSQL such as MongoDB.
  • Data warehousing concepts OLAP, OLTP.
  • REST concepts and building interacting with REST APIs.
  • UI concepts cross-browser compatibility responsive web design.
  • Test driven development using testing libraries Jest jUnit.
  • JS visualization libraries D3 Highcharts etc.
  • Core backend concepts developing designing RESTful services APIs.
  • Developing functional databases applications servers supporting websites back end.
  • Performance optimization multithreading concepts.
  • Deploying maintaining high traffic infrastructure performance testing plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud Services particularly Azure Web App Storage VM AWS GCP Services.
  • Experience working UX designers bringing design life.
  • Understanding Sprints Agile managing Sprints Jira.
  • Experience Microservices Messaging Brokers RabbitMQ.
  • Experience reverse proxy engines Nginx Apache HTTPD.
  • Familiarity Github Actions CI/CD tool Jenkins.
