Job Title: Digital Content Strategist

A skilled Digital Content Strategist is required to develop and implement effective content strategies to grow subscribers and views on YouTube and Facebook. Key responsibilities include managing YouTube content, scheduling and optimizing videos, monitoring analytics and audience retention, and coordinating with video editors and talent.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and analytics, as well as good visual and aesthetic sense for thumbnails and content curation. Experience with YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, and Creator Studio is essential, along with familiarity with content copyright, community guidelines, and brand safety.

The role requires strong communication and project management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement YouTube content strategies to grow subscribers and views
  • Schedule, upload, and optimize videos with strong titles, descriptions, tags, and thumbnails
  • Monitor analytics and audience retention to improve performance
  • Manage playlists, end screens, cards, and community engagement
  • Coordinate with video editors, graphic designers, and talent
  • Ensure compliance with platform policies and copyright rules
  • Drive YouTube monetization via AdSense, Super Chat, Memberships, and Brand Integrations
  • Plan, schedule, and post content (videos, reels, stories, images, and links) on Facebook
  • Monitor Facebook insights and adapt strategies accordingly
  • Engage with the community (comments, messages, shares)
  • Run and optimize Facebook ad campaigns (if applicable)
  • Grow page likes, video watch time, and followers
  • Use Meta Business Suite to track performance and publish cross-platform
  • Implement monetization tools (In-stream ads, fan subscriptions, branded content)

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Media, Communication, or a related field
  • Experience managing branded YouTube & Facebook pages
  • Hands-on experience with YouTube Studio, Meta Business Suite, Creator Studio
  • Strong understanding of platform algorithms, trends, and analytics
  • Good visual/aesthetic sense for thumbnails and content curation
  • Familiarity with content copyright, community guidelines, and brand safety
  • Basic knowledge of video editing tools is a plus
