We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Developer to design, develop and deploy scalable cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) services. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS and other AWS services.

The successful applicant will be responsible for writing clean, efficient and maintainable Python code for automation, scripting and backend services.

Additionally, the role will involve optimizing AWS resources for performance, scalability and cost efficiency as well as implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.

4+ years of experience in AWS development and cloud technologies.

Strong proficiency in Python for cloud-based applications and automation.

Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway and CloudWatch.

Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using CloudFormation or Terraform.

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).

Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.

Desired Skills:

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) are a plus.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven computing.
