Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to lead test automation efforts across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, hands-on experience with modern UI automation tools, and a solid understanding of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle.

  • Build scalable UI test flows using Playwright
  • Automate backend/API tests using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent
  • Write robust smoke tests, regression suites, kill switches, and sanity checks
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for seamless validation
  • Debug failing builds, isolate bugs, and log them efficiently
  • Maintain high-quality test data and manage test environments effectively

About this Role:

You will be responsible for crafting real-world code, delivering clean tests, eliminating flaky ones, and ensuring rapid deployment without compromising quality. You will also have opportunities to explore AI-driven QA processes and optimize test data management.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level programming skills in JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Familiarity with modern UI automation tools and frameworks
  • In-depth knowledge of API testing, version control, and test lifecycle management
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
  • Proficiency in writing, maintaining, and debugging complex automated test scripts
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools (K6, JMeter) is a plus
  • Exposure to testing AI/ML-based systems is a valuable asset
