Software Engineering Lead Role

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of software applications using Java Microservices architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business strategy into technical solutions.
  • Develop innovative solutions that meet performance and service level requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in software development lifecycle methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, Core Java, Spring/Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, JMS/Kafka/MQ, REST API, C# & .NET, Microservice architecture, relational databases like Oracle PL/SQL, public cloud platforms (GCP/Azure/AWS), application migration from On-Prem/Private cloud to public cloud, effective learning, problem-solving, decision-making capability, exposure to AI/ML and Generative AI, strong verbal and written communication skills, self-starter, proactive, excellent team player.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participating in partnership with internal stakeholders to translate bank strategy into technical solutions or release management.
  • Ensuring knowledge articles and documentation are up to date.
  • Being responsible for IT Governance in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Developing sustainable solutions congruent with the strategic direction of the Bank.
  • Challenging the status quo and influencing key stakeholders to ensure industry's best practice within their area of expertise.

Familiarity with Finance and specifically Asset Management industry, Alternative investments, positive attitude, a team player, proactive ability to work independently, open to learn, adapt, and solution with new technologies, defines and implements best practices, solutions, and standards related to their area of expertise.
