Job Title: Automation Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Automation Specialist to join our team at Royal Enfield. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and managing digitization across our IT landscape, ensuring the strategic and technical implementation and on-going support of business process automations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study business processes and identify areas for automation
- Implement and track automation projects and effectiveness
- Own the governance framework for automation processes in IT
- Deliver automation that is secure, efficient, and accurate
- Coordinate with business stakeholders and agencies responsible for designing and building automation
- Own the ITSM tool for RE and ensure end-to-end new implementation and enhancement of the tool
- Configure workflows in ITSM tools for SRs, CRs, and others
- Develop tools to instrument internal support and operational processes
- Work closely with Delivery and Operations to develop an end-to-end automated platform
- Analyze and understand IT processes
- Resolve issues that arise in day-to-day running of automated processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required
- Roll out AI bot for other use cases
- Manage the relationship with the business team at the site to understand their business requirements and translate them into IT solutions
- Maintain high-performing service support functions including an IT Service Desk, Desktop Support, and VIP Support
- Able to manage multiple plants and office locations for providing seamless IT support and infrastructure enablement
- Responsible for capacity planning, asset governance, and inventory management for the site requirements
- Coordinate all infrastructure planned or unplanned activities and ensure proper communication to stakeholders
- Regular governance of Support partners for efficient IT support
- Drive internal and third-party service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality, and processes
- Get analysis done of Incident trends and recommend actions, get those implemented
- Act as an escalation point for unresolved and escalated tickets
- Project Management and Project execution
- Manage the desktop computing environment to ensure that laptops, PCs, and other devices are built and maintained to high standards of performance and security
- Operational and enhancement support for Plant applications
- Manage business stakeholders
Work Experience:
6+ years of relevant experience in implementing and managing various tools - ITSM, ITAM, Event Correlation, Application Performance Monitoring, Network Performance Monitoring, Server Monitoring, and Automation tools like Ansible, Selenium, etc.
Experience in providing Technical Support
Experience in Manufacturing/Automotive industry
