Network Infrastructure Specialist

Job Overview:
The role of Network Manager involves overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure. This encompasses the deployment of firewalls and NIPS solutions to ensure optimal network security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive network security policies
- Configure and deploy firewall and NIPS solutions for robust security measures
- Identify and troubleshoot network issues, with a focus on root cause analysis
- Conduct regular performance checks on network devices and schedule periodic audits
- Implement timely security patches as required and conduct compliance checks
- Coordinate with vendors for technical support, replacement, and reconfiguration of faulty equipment
- Create detailed documentation, including network diagrams and inventory control records
- Investigate, isolate, and resolve network incidents through root cause analysis
- Design and implement site-to-site VPNs and IDS/IPS solutions for data centers, disaster recovery sites, and cloud environments
- Update knowledge bases in IT service management tools
- Identify opportunities for automation to improve operational efficiency
- Patch updates and upgrades for firewalls and NIPS in accordance with compliance and audit requirements
- Close out compliance and audit points within agreed timelines
