We are seeking a skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our buying department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing divisional buying and merchandising strategies.

You will work closely with the merchandising team to ensure timely delivery of products that meet customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing pricing strategies on various product lines in collaboration with the marketing department and management.
  • Sourcing the right products at the right time to meet customer needs.
  • Maximizing current sourcing channels and identifying new opportunities.
  • Supporting negotiations with suppliers to achieve best costs and margins.
  • Working closely with designers to develop styles and inform best sellers.
  • Managing stock, style options, quantities, promotions, and markdowns in collaboration with the merchandising team.
  • Conducting market research to track competitor activities and trends.
  • Product presentation, packaging, and development, as well as promotional plans.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of the fashion industry and excellent communication skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have a proven track record of achieving results.

Requirements:

  • Graduate/Diploma in design/apparel merchandising or related field.
  • Experience in a similar role (1-3 years).
