About the Role

We are seeking an Electrical Procurement Specialist to handle end-to-end procurement of electrical items.

  • The successful candidate will source products at the right cost, on time, and as per technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Management

The Electrical Procurement Specialist will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and finalizing vendors for electrical products (cables, switchgears, panels, etc.).

  1. Float RFQs, prepare price comparison sheets, and negotiate for the best pricing, credit terms, and delivery schedules.
  2. Review and interpret SLDs (Single Line Diagrams) and BOQs (Bill of Quantities) to ensure purchases align with project needs.
Vendor Management

The ideal candidate will maintain and update vendor lists, develop new suppliers, and conduct vendor audits for quality assurance.

  • Maintain accurate procurement records (quotations, POs, payments, approvals).
  • Ensure purchases are made within budget and in compliance with company procurement guidelines.
Skills and Qualifications

We require a Diploma/Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

  • 2–3 years of procurement experience in an electrical trading company.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and email communication.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
