Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with API testing, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual API testing to validate functionality, reliability, and performance.
  • Automate API testing using RestAssured or Playwright for faster regression and continuous validation.
  • Design and document test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on business requirements.
  • Log, track, and manage bugs using JIRA or Azure DevOps and collaborate with development teams.
  • Build and manage test automation pipelines using Jenkins within CI/CD workflows.
  • Use Visual Studio or VS Code as primary IDEs to develop and maintain automation scripts.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
  • Ensure complete test coverage and conduct smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
  • Provide detailed test reports and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in API testing, both manual and automated.
  • Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and other test management tools.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
  • Good knowledge of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON/XML formats.
  • Familiarity with SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in rotational shifts and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
