Job Description

Accor is seeking a highly skilled and organized Store & Receiving Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth receipt, storage, and distribution of goods and materials within our hotel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure seamless communication and cooperation, resulting in maximum productivity, morale, and guest satisfaction.
  • Provide effective support to the team to enable them to deliver exceptional services.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure operational effectiveness.
Financial Management:
  • Work closely with the Stores Team Leader/Materials Manager to regularly review the stores, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to maintain optimal stock levels, reduce waste, and improve material handling.
  • Recommend inventory levels for goods in the stores to the Finance Department and obtain approval.
  • Identify cost-effective ways to utilize resources and educate the team on best practices.
Operational Management:
  • Ensure the security of all storeroom areas and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Efficiently supply materials to user departments according to standard procedures and maintain stores to minimize waste.
  • Inform the Stores Team Leader and follow standard procedures in case of spoilage or damage.
  • Ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks related to delivery of goods.
  • Check the expiry dates of goods and discard expired items.
  • Maintain accurate records of goods received, issued, and stock levels.
Hygiene, Personal Safety, and Environment:
  • Ensure the workplace and storage areas remain clean and tidy.
  • Respect safety guidelines and equipment usage instructions.
  • Apply hotel security regulations and ISO 9001 quality certification requirements.
  • Adhere to the hotel's environmental commitments, including energy conservation, recycling, and waste sorting.
