About the Internship

As a travel and tourism intern at our organization, you will be responsible for assisting in booking travel arrangements for clients, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities. You will communicate with clients via phone, email, and in-person to provide information, answer inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns related to their travel plans.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
  1. Assisting in booking travel arrangements for clients
  2. Communicating with clients via phone, email, and in-person
  3. Collaborating with travel suppliers to negotiate rates, secure bookings, and ensure availability for clients
  4. Researching destination information to provide recommendations and enhance the travel experience for clients
  5. Preparing travel itineraries and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information
  6. Assisting with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and maintaining client records

Skill Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  1. English proficiency and excellent communication skills
  2. Strong passion for travel and eagerness to learn and develop skills in the travel industry
  3. Detail-oriented and organized with strong time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  4. Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and travel reservation systems
  5. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively in a team environment
