Job Title: Data Migration Lead

We are seeking a seasoned tech lead with expertise in Java and Apache Spark to lead cloud-based data solution development and deployment.

This role involves overseeing project technical direction, mentoring team members, and delivering scalable systems using cloud and big data technologies.

We are looking for a skilled professional with hands-on experience in Java development and proficiency in Apache Spark for distributed data processing.

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable data processing systems utilizing Java and Apache Spark in the cloud environment.
  • Architect and implement big data processing pipelines leveraging technologies such as Apache Spark and cloud-native services.
  • Develop serverless applications and integrate them with cloud services for efficient solutions.
  • Manage microservices-based applications using container orchestration tools like Amazon EKS or equivalent.
  • Implement workflow orchestration solutions for managing complex data pipelines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure smooth integration.
  • Mentor development teams on Java best practices, cloud architecture, and data engineering principles.
  • Optimize performance and cost-efficiency of deployed solutions in cloud environments.
Required Skills:
  • Hands-on experience in Java development.
  • Proficiency in Apache Spark for distributed data processing.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services (e.g., EMR, Lambda, EKS, Airflow).
  • Solid understanding of serverless architectures and microservices design.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team mentoring experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
