We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Data Architect to join our team.

Senior Snowflake Consultant

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines, data models, and analytics solutions on Snowflake. This includes:

  1. Data Modeling: Design, implement, and optimize Snowflake data warehouses, schemas, and data-sharing solutions.
  2. Performance Tuning: Define and implement best practices around performance tuning, cost optimization, and data governance.
  3. Scalable Data Models: Create scalable data models supporting BFSI use cases (e.g., regulatory reporting, fraud detection, risk analytics).
  4. Data Pipelines: Build, schedule, and monitor complex data pipelines using Matillion.
  5. ELT Workflows: Optimize ELT workflows for large-scale BFSI data volumes (transactional, customer, risk, and compliance datasets).
  6. Error Handling: Implement robust error handling, logging, and recovery mechanisms.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Matillion ETL and proven expertise in the Banking, Financial Services domain. They will work with structured/unstructured data like core banking systems, payments, credit risk, AML/KYC, collections.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, and reporting teams to deliver analytical datasets.
  2. Collaborate with cloud engineers to ensure secure, compliant cloud deployments.
  3. Support and mentor junior engineers on Snowflake and Matillion best practices.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience with over 6 years hands-on experience with Snowflake (data modeling, performance tuning, secure data sharing, resource monitors, streams & tasks).
  • Advanced Matillion ETL development (or similar cloud-native ETL tools).
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud services (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, DevOps integration for data workflows.
