About the Role:

We're seeking a seasoned Engineering Project Manager to lead and manage our engineering projects from inception to completion.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, combined with excellent planning, resource allocation, and task management capabilities.

The Engineering Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed project plans that outline the scope, objectives, timelines, resources, and budget.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and specifications.
  • Monitor and track project progress, adjusting plans as needed to ensure successful execution.
  • Manage and optimize project budgets, ensuring resource utilization is within financial constraints.
  • Break down projects into manageable tasks and assign responsibilities to team members.
  • Establish and maintain clear lines of communication with team members to ensure accountability and progress tracking.
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project timelines and quality.
  • Document and escalate issues as they arise, collaborating with relevant stakeholders for timely resolutions.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives and enhance their skills.
  • Facilitate team meetings, ensuring all voices are heard and encouraging a collaborative environment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing concerns.
  • Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients, ensuring transparency and alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct project evaluations and assessments to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in an engineering environment, with a minimum of 7+ years in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen ability to plan, prioritize, and manage tasks effectively.
  • Demonstrated experience in resource allocation and budget management.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
  • PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is preferred.
