Business Analyst - Treasury Operations

Are you a highly skilled Business Analyst with expertise in treasury products, financial markets, and Murex platform functionalities? We are seeking an individual to bridge business and technology teams, ensuring optimal system usage, efficient workflows, and continuous enhancement of treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day L1/L2 support for Treasury teams on Murex-related queries, issues, and troubleshooting.
  • Conduct user training sessions to improve adoption, ensuring users understand system features, workflows, and reporting capabilities.
  • Maintain user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, Compliance, and other business units to gather detailed requirements for new functionalities or enhancements.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for Murex development and configuration teams.
  • Perform controlled, well-documented configuration changes (e.g., product setup, workflow rules, trade validation rules, risk measures, market data mappings).
  • Design and generate Murex-based reports for trade positions, risk exposures, P&L analysis, and regulatory compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5+ years as a Business Analyst in Treasury or Capital Markets, with hands-on Murex experience.
  • Strong understanding of treasury products FX, derivatives, money markets, fixed income, and associated risk/settlement processes.
  • Knowledge of integration protocols (e.g., FpML, XML) is a plus.
