We are seeking a highly skilled Content Developer to join our Communications team at Pratham Education Foundation.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating and managing content that effectively communicates our organization's mission, vision, and values to various stakeholders. This includes developing original and engaging content for our website, social media, email newsletters, press releases, and program documentation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling narratives that convey our mission and values while communicating complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
  • Create powerful stories that resonate with our audience and inspire them to take action and support our cause.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure content is aligned with overall communication strategies.
  • Work closely with graphic designers, videographers, and other content creators to develop multimedia content.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Social Studies, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of work experience as a Content Specialist or similar role, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging content that drives conversation and action.
  • Demonstrated understanding of various social media platforms, their unique audiences, and best practices for each.
  • Creative mindset and experience in visual content creation using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Mailchimp, Photoshop, or similar software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects and deadlines.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
