The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned Cloud Solutions Architect with extensive experience in solutions engineering and presales, specifically in the Cloud & Virtualization domain. They will be responsible for designing and proposing cloud architecture using open-source orchestrators like CloudStack, virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and propose cloud architecture using open-source orchestrators like CloudStack, virtualization, and automation technology in complex multi-tenant environments.
  • Engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our solutions and effectively communicate key differentiators.
  • Assist customers with initial product evaluations and testing to set the stage for successful implementation.
  • Connect technical project requirements with business needs, crucial for this position's success.
  • Respond to RFIs or RFPs, communicating our Product's differentiators.
  • Prepare and deliver unique solution presentations or technical proposals.
  • Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities, including Proof Of Concepts.
  • Build relationships and work with partners to find opportunities.

Must-Have Skills:

  • Experience with cloud solution implementation in enterprise environments.
  • Thorough understanding of cloud technologies and concepts, with working knowledge of leading private cloud platforms (VCloud, OpenStack, CloudStack).
  • Thorough understanding of virtualization concepts (ESXi/KVM) and container technologies (Kubernetes).
  • Strong network and application security knowledge, including infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
  • Knowledge of other enterprise products and solutions (Storage, Security, Compute).
  • Excellent written communication skills and experience preparing technical proposals, RFP responses, and BoQs.
  • High presentation skills and composure in front of technical and business customers or prospects.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced international environment.
  • Proven experience managing Proof Of Concept activities in the Cloud Domain.
  • Takes responsibility for projects and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant bachelor's degree.
  • 7+ years of experience.
