Our Fiber Infrastructure Specialist role involves installing and maintaining cutting-edge fiber optic networks, ensuring seamless connectivity for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with field teams to oversee installation, splicing, termination, and testing of fiber optic cables
  • Conduct thorough quality checks using OTDR, power meter, and light source testing
  • Perform network maintenance, identify faults, and restore fiber breaks in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of fiber routes, splicing details, and test reports
  • Coordinate with stakeholders during project execution, adhering to safety standards and project timelines

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
  • 2 years of hands-on experience in fiber optic installation and maintenance
  • Proficiency in single-mode and multi-mode fiber technologies
  • Familiarity with fiber splicing machines, OTDR, and related tools

Preferred Competencies:

  • Knowledge of FTTH, DWDM, MPLS, and backbone fiber networks
  • Experience with ISP / Telecom / Infrastructure projects
  • Understanding of industry best practices and safety standards
