ETL Testing ProfessionalEvaluate and test Extract, Transform, Load processes to ensure data accuracy across various platforms.Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand ETL flow and requirements from high-level design documents
  • Prepare development and user acceptance testing environments in Teradata, Unix, or Hadoop
  • Estimate space allocation for Teradata databases in system integration testing and user acceptance testing environments
  • Forklift seed data from production to test environments using Teradata utilities
  • Create forklift jobs in mainframe to transfer production data to mainframe files using Fast-Export Utility and NDM
  • Set up ETL jobs in regression efforts and execute flows in Autosys and Mainframe
  • Participate actively in defect review meetings and analyze tasks to assign them to team members daily
  • Develop effective SQL scripts to validate change data capture logic in Teradata
  • Create automation script modules in TOSCA to execute regression scripts
  • Execute test scripts and upload results to Qtest/QC
