Oracle Database Administrator Position

This is a challenging role for an experienced Oracle Database professional to join our dynamic and friendly team in Mumbai. As an Oracle DBA, you will be well-placed to make significant contributions to the mobile payments industry by bringing engineering excellence in innovating new features and functions in customer-centric applications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Database Setup & Configuration: Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle databases (12c/19c and later) in Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
  • Performance Monitoring & Optimisation: Proactively monitor database health and availability using OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) and custom monitoring scripts.
  • Backup, Recovery & High Availability: Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions using RMAN, Data Guard, and RAC.
  • Data Security & Compliance: Implement data encryption (TDE, Data Redaction, Network Encryption) and access control policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's / master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as an Oracle DBA in mission-critical environments.
  • Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c database administration.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra) or Big Data ecosystems (Hadoop, Spark).
  • Prior experience in fintech, banking, or lending domain.
