Senior Financial Executive

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial Executive will lead and oversee the entire financial function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, effective cash flow management, and strategic financial planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Management & Strategy
  • Lead the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting process to optimize cost and improve profitability.
  • Develop strategies to enhance profitability and monitor financial performance against business goals.
  • Provide insights for decision-making through timely and accurate financial analysis.
  1. Accounts & Reporting
  • Ensure timely preparation of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations and oversee accounting team performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.
  1. Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, Income Tax, TDS, ROC filings, and other applicable laws.
  • Liaise with statutory, internal, and tax auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Stay updated with regulatory changes impacting the industry.
  1. Treasury & Working Capital Management
  • Manage cash flows, banking operations, and fund utilization efficiently.
  • Oversee working capital management, credit control, and debtor management.
  • Build strong relationships with banks and investors for fund raising and project financing.
  1. Cost Control & MIS
  • Implement effective cost accounting systems and monitor production-related costs.
  • Develop and present periodic reports to management for financial performance tracking.
  • Support business units with financial analysis to aid in pricing, costing, and investment decisions.
  1. Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring skill development and high performance.
  • Establish strong internal controls and processes across the department.
  • Foster a culture of integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
  • Experience: 8 - 15 year's post CA qualification experience in Finance, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in financial reporting, statutory compliance, cost control, and treasury management.
  • Proven track record in handling audits, liaising with banks, and managing working capital.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
