Job Title

A key member of the executive team is sought for a leadership role in driving the financial health and strategic planning of the Company.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in corporate finance, accounting principles, and risk management. They will be responsible for managing the financial actions of the Company, including accounting & treasury activities, tracking cash flow, financial planning, and analyzing the Company's financial strengths and weaknesses.

About this Role:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the Company's long-term goals and advise on long-term business and financial planning.
  • Oversight of the preparation and approval of all financial reporting metrics. Monitoring and direction of the implementation of strategic business plans.
  • Preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports, conducting financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Preparation and review of MIS reports including monthly & quarterly P&L and analysis of variances.
  • Ensure efficient operation of the finance function, managing cash flow and expense control processes. Implementation of operational best practices to maximize revenue and develop financial and tax strategies.
  • Understanding and mitigation of key elements of the Company's risk profile, monitoring all open legal issues involving the Company, and legal issues affecting the industry and constructing and monitoring reliable control systems.
  • Management of relationships with investors and investment institutions, representing the Company with bankers and investors. Raising additional capital as necessary to fund the Company's expansion.
  • Timely and accurate preparation of financial statements in compliance with applicable regulations. Reporting financial results to stock-exchanges and the board of directors.
  • Compliance with all financial regulations and standards. Oversight of the Company's transaction processing systems.
  • Leadership, development, and mentorship of the finance team. Management of the accounting and finance departments, ensuring the Company's financial stability.
  • Control of statutory books of accounts of the Company and monitoring of day-to-day transactions such as GL, Bank, Account Receivable, Accounts Payable and Assets.
  • Compliance of the Rules & Regulations of the direct & indirect taxes and ensuring timely preparation and filing of periodic Returns.
  • Coordination with auditors or conducting statutory audit, limited review, tax audit, cost audit and internal audit.
  • Management of appropriate and feasible levels of structures on information-technology (IT) set-up

Requirements:

  • Candidates must hold a CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible financial leadership roles.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance, accounting principles, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage, lead, and develop teams and coordinate with other functional teams.
