About the Role:
Apraava is seeking a Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal advice on real estate matters. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive risk assessments and managing land acquisition processes for various projects.
Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring land acquisition and documentation to protect ownership over land, supporting commercial teams on contract management, and securing necessary permits for land acquisition.
To be successful in this role, you will have a broad understanding of the Indian Power Industry, knowledge of power value chains from renewable sources, and awareness of latest developments in the power sector.
You will work closely with the Real Estate and Regulatory Practice to identify legal and regulatory risks, compliance-related issues, and protect company interests through documentation and commercial inputs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting comprehensive risk assessments of land status
- Managing land acquisition processes for various projects
- Monitoring land acquisition and documentation to protect ownership over land
- SUPPORTING COMMERCIAL TEAMS ON CONTRACT MANAGEMENT
- Securing necessary permits for land acquisition
