Job Title: Lead Software Architect
Position Summary:
In this key leadership role, you will lead the team to design, architect, and deliver large-scale software applications, services, or technologies that bring powerful health services, capabilities, and solutions. As a leader in the organization, you will have the opportunity to work directly with partner IT and business teams, owning and driving major deliverables across all aspects of software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a high-performing engineering team that delivers exceptional results through rapid iterations.
- Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to provide technical solutions for desired user experiences.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to the team, including your own code contributions.
- Define detailed technical requirements from high-level product descriptions and enable your team to do the same.
- Drive innovation within the team and facilitate individual growth of team members.
- Ensure high-quality design reviews that meet business and architectural goals.
- Participate in strategic planning to achieve technical and business alignment with the team, leadership chain, and customers.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, with deep hands-on technical expertise in cloud-based distributed software design and development.
- Experience designing software architectures for scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Prior experience as a software developer or software development manager.
- 9+ years of software development experience, including design patterns, data structures, test-driven development utilizing Java/.Net, Python, or full-stack JavaScript.
Estimated Salary Range: $180,000 - $250,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
