Role Summary

This is a critical opportunity for a seasoned Senior Design Architect to join ARM’s team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge compute subsystems. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing high-performance, power-efficient subsystems for various SoC applications.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced design architect with a strong background in digital hardware design and Verilog HDL. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of current design techniques for complex SoC development, including synthesis and timing analysis, static design checks, power management techniques, and DFT and physical implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-performance, power-efficient subsystems for various SoC applications.
  • Develop RTL for SoC projects and create design specifications.
  • Work with the project team to understand and review the architecture and develop the design specifications.
  • Collaborate with the verification team to review test plans and help debug design issues.
  • Contribute to developing and enhancing the design methodologies used by the team.
  • Guide and support other members of the team as needed to enable the successful completion of project activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 12-18 years of experience working in design of complex compute subsystems or SoCs.
  • Strong knowledge of digital hardware design and Verilog HDL.
  • Experience with Perl, Python, or other scripting languages.
  • Experience leading small teams or projects.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with ARM-based designs and/or ARM System Architectures.
  • Experience integrating subsystems for PCIe, LPDDR, HBM, UCIe, Ethernet.
  • Experience with SystemVerilog and verification methodologies – UVM/OVM/e.
  • Experience in synthesis and timing analysis, static design checks, power management techniques, and DFT and physical implementation.

The estimated salary for this role is $140,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience. This figure includes a base salary and potential bonuses. Please note that this is an estimate and actual compensation may vary.
