Financial Market Trader

This role involves the execution of cash-future arbitrage and rolls, including churn (forward vs. reverse) and basket trading to optimize profit margins.

  • Execute large baskets to optimize profit and minimize losses.
  • Maintain accurate records in Excel and monitor trades and PnL to inform strategic decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing cash-future arbitrage and rolls with precision to achieve maximum gain.
  • Churning and optimizing positions to capitalize on market fluctuations.
  • Managing large basket executions for maximum gain and minimizing risk.
  • Monitoring trades and Profit & Loss (PnL) to inform strategic decisions and adjust trading strategies accordingly.
  • Recording transactions and performance metrics in Excel to facilitate data-driven decision making.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher; MBA preferred for advanced knowledge of financial markets.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in executing cash-future trades, preferably arbitrage, with a strong understanding of market dynamics.
  • Previous experience using algorithms for arbitrage is an asset to optimize trading strategies.
  • Basic proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and visualization to interpret market trends.
  • Familiarity with systems and related technology is essential for seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Excellent English language skills to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong mathematical calculation and analytical skills to navigate complex financial models.
