Job Title: Master Data Management Professional

The Role of a Material Master Business Process Lead is pivotal in driving business process design and improvement activities globally, aligning with organizational goals and priorities.

This position requires close collaboration with Solution teams and business process owners to ensure consistency and completeness of end-to-end design.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cross-functional master data management business process design and best practices in master data governance. Experience with SAP MDG, SAP S/4 HANA, and materials management is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Material master data management processes comparable to best-in-class processes.
  • Identify areas of process opportunity improvements in line with Novartis guidelines and business-specific requirements.
  • Drive the overall plan for implementation and adoption of Material master business process design in LDC releases.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure business user acceptance and enablement of business process automation capabilities.
  • Facilitate cultural change by improving data literacy across the business through training, education, and increasing data consumption.

Requirements:

  • A Master's university degree or higher.
  • At least 5 years' experience in regional or global roles in material/product data-related functional areas.
  • Solid understanding of cross-functional master data management business process design and best practices.
  • Experience with SAP PLM/SAP EHS and/or Specification Management is an additional advantage.
  • Proven track record in driving discussions and facilitating cross-functional decision making in matrix organizations.
