Job Title: Visual Creative

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our creative team as a Visual Creative. As a key player, you will play a crucial role in delivering impactful stories through innovative visual presentations and design that effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create engaging visuals that align with brand identity and resonate with our target audience.

The role involves thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts, developing interactive communication design, and staying current on global design trends.

You should have the ability to translate ideas into tangible design concepts and meet clients or account managers to discuss business objectives and requirements.

Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of time, presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers, and demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.

You will work as part of a team with designers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists.

Deliver on deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Proactively work by coordinating handoffs, sharing context, and aligning on shared goals.

Stay current on design trends, software updates, and best practices. Contribute ideas for process improvements and new visual approaches. Assist in internal design reviews and share learnings with the team.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of professional experience in visual design, preferably in a creative agency or design studio.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field.
  • Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • Strong portfolio (3 - 5 pieces) demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution across various mediums.
  • Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, and design principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work.
  • Basic skills in motion graphics/video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Familiarity with web/UI tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
  • Experience with PowerPoint, Google Slides, Sites, and other G Suite tools.
  • Curiosity about Generative AI and emerging design tech.
