Key Responsibilities
  • We are seeking a detail-oriented Cost Analyst to prepare overhead rates and upload them into SAP.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for handling Costing Runs, ACR, SCR, etc. in SAP, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Review of product cost accuracy, trends, recons, and reconciliation of financial and COGS with Costing records is crucial to this role.
  • A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail are required to rectify inventory valuation trends and assess capacity utilization of production blocks.
  • The ideal candidate will prepare analytical reviews on costs, inventory, and ensure strict compliance with Financial Standards and Controls (FSCP), including checklists.
  • Cost audit schedules and audit closure, business finance interaction issue closure, and periodical true-up of accounting estimates are also key responsibilities.
  • Maintenance of process documentation and review by the Controllers Forum is essential to this role.
Requirements
  • A Certified Management Accountant (CMA) qualification with 2-3 years of relevant experience or semi-qualified CMA/CA with 4-5 years of relevant experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience in SAP FICO are necessary for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have a quick grasp of accounting implications and an analytical mindset.
  • A flair for numbers and process orientation is essential to succeed in this position.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, as well as teamwork and outcome orientation, are also required.
  • Sound knowledge of costing methods and experience in handling cost audits are highly valued.

This role requires a strong understanding of costing methods, SAP, and financial analysis, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
