Job Title: IT Infrastructure Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IT infrastructure manager to lead our organization's infrastructure operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and implementing the infrastructure strategy, reviewing and analyzing existing infrastructure effectiveness, and negotiating the purchase of software and hardware.

About the Role:

  • Create and implement the infrastructure strategy for the organization.
  • Review and analyze existing infrastructure effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Negotiate the purchase of software and hardware.
  • Manage inventory of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
  • Interact with senior management on matters related to infrastructure.
  • Manage outsourced team for daily operations.
  • Provide solutions to complex business problems.
  • Perform live disaster recovery activities and drills periodically.
  • Work knowledge of server, storage, database, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), and network.
  • Production incident management.
  • Regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in infrastructure management for both on-premise datacenter and cloud infra.
  • Program and project management expertise.
  • In-depth hands-on knowledge of infrastructure such as server, storage, database, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux), and network.
  • Good knowledge and exposure on cloud computing.

Skills:

  • Ability to perform infrastructure discovery assessments and transformation strategy.
  • Holistic understanding of all data center functions (production operations, change control, DR/Business recovery, helpdesk, systems management, and facilities).
  • Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons, and migration consideration.

Preferred Profile:

Educational qualification: B Tech / BE / MCA / MBA

">

Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience with infrastructure management for both on premise Datacenter and Cloud Infra.

Skill Required: Program and project management expertise, Planning and executing Infra related projects, In depth hands on knowledge on Infra such as server, storage, database, Operating Systems (Windows and Linux) and network.

Functional Competencies required: Ability to perform infrastructure discovery assessments, and transformation strategy, Holistic understanding of all data center functions (production operations, change control, DR/Business recovery, helpdesk, systems management and facilities), Experience with private and public cloud architectures, pros/cons and migration consideration.
