Scheduling Specialist Job Description

At the heart of our operations is a crucial role, that of Scheduling Specialist. This position plays a pivotal part in ensuring seamless workflow and optimizing productivity.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Aligning Schedule with Forecasted Work Volume: The Scheduling Specialist will work closely with the Operations and Workforce Management Team to ensure schedules are accurately aligned with forecasted work volume.
  • Analyzing Customer Contact Trends: By identifying customer contact trends, the Scheduling Specialist ensures that adequate resources are allocated to meet service level goals.
  • Managing Schedule Information: Utilizing workforce software programs, the Scheduling Specialist will manage schedule information for new and existing employees across multiple locations.
  • Ensuring Accurate Employee Data: It is essential that employee information is accurately entered and maintained on an ongoing basis to ensure seamless scheduling.

This critical position requires:

  • Post-Secondary Degree or Certificate in Business Administration, with relevant work experience also considered.
  • Experience with Workforce Management Systems, preferably utilizing assets.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, ideal but not mandatory.
  • Knowledge of Contact Center Operations, with a strong understanding of functions and business processes.
  • Strong Technical, Analytical, and Problem-Solving Skills.
  • Superior Attention to Detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
  • Adaptability in a Fast-Paced Environment is crucial.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team within a dynamic environment.
