Job Opportunity:

This role is an integral part of our software development team, responsible for translating business requirements into functional code.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Transform business needs into efficient application code
  • Create detailed documentation of application specifications
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure alignment with architectural standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional resources to provide technical assistance and guidance
  • Work closely with development team members to guarantee proper implementation and deployment of solutions
  • Analyze and resolve complex application issues
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and business processes
  • Develop and deploy integrated solutions to enhance, consolidate, and coordinate independently designed applications enterprise-wide
  • Determine how existing applications integrate to meet new and emerging enterprise requirements
  • Develop efficient methods to reuse existing components
  • Apply comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of business applications required to facilitate the development of supporting knowledge architecture and standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine business requirements
  • Design, execute, assess, and troubleshoot software programs and applications

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in IT as a software developer
  • Knowledge in Oracle Application Modules Revenue Management & Billing, Payables, Receivables, General Ledger and iExpenses & iProcurement
  • Excellent knowledge in PL/SQL and Unix Shell Script
  • Experience in developing and customizing Oracle XML Publisher Reports, Bursting, Forms
  • Ability to work on CEMLI (RICE)
  • Expertise in other programming languages e.g. Java, Python (preferred)
