Senior Payments Product Manager

We are a customer-facing product team focused on delivering exceptional customer experiences and performance across our products.

The Role and Responsibilities:

  • This role focuses on data analysis, investigations, and monitoring for Mastercard authentication products.
  • Ownership of Global Authentication team product monitoring and dashboard strategy for both new build and product enhancements.
  • Act as a product/business owner to understand customer needs and develop reporting and monitoring solutions that cater to those requirements.
  • Engage in all aspects of product lifecycle management, including product ideation, go-to-market strategies, pricing, monitoring, optimization, and customer support.
  • Partner with major stakeholders globally to align major/complex enhancements.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex authentication processing scenarios and errors.
  • Collaborate with supporting teams to ensure world-class performance and customer experience for authentication products.
  • Work closely with Legal, Privacy, Franchise, and Pricing teams to ensure products meet regulatory requirements.
  • Become an expert in payment and ID&V authentication technologies.

Preferred Skillset:

  • A strong background in payment and ID&V authentication technologies is highly desirable.
  • Prior experience in Business Analysis, Product Owner/Developer, or Product Management/Product Management Technical roles is strongly preferred.
  • Data analysis skills with a focus on building KPIs and reporting are essential (Tableau or PowerBI experience is a plus).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills are required.
  • The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt to rapidly changing scenarios in a regulated environment is crucial.
  • Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize multiple responsibilities, and tasks effectively.
  • Willingness to learn about our technology, system structure, and rules in-depth.
  • Excellent analytical, data, and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong visual presentation skills, including data visualization, and the ability to create clear, compelling slides.
  • Effective project management skills – strong organization and task management are expected.
  • A collaborative mindset, able to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to build and leverage relationships within and outside the organization to drive results.
  • Confidence in interacting with varying levels of leadership across the organization and with internal and external clients; ability to lead and influence at all levels.
